Seriously this is the best documentary I've ever seen. The Jimmy Iovine stuff was riveting. I can't believe he worked with and dated Stevie Nicks. Jimmy Iovine is a LEGEND. I understand now how Dre and him have such a close connection. Jimmy really had Dre's back. When that first Aftermath album bombed, he told Interscope if they get rid of Dre, he's leaving too. Those are the kind of real friends you always stand by.

Also, the video footage of Suge hanging out at Iovine's house and playing football with him at his house every Sunday :russ:

If you guys haven't, check out Iovine's interview with Sway. He talks about how he didn't know about all the ass whoppings going on at Death Row and all the violence. I believe him after seeing this documentary. Because when you think about it, only Dre and Suge communicated with Iovine from Death Row. Interscope only distributed Death Row. Employees couldn't go snitching to Iovine and Interscope. Only way he would know is if Dre or Suge told him.

Another interesting fact from the Sway interview, Suge came to Jimmy and said he wanted Dre out of Death Row. So It wasn't just Dre wanting to leave.

It was intriguing how Berman talked about how Jimmy really liked Suge and invested in Suge "the human being". Seems Jimmy really was friends with Suge and saw a different side of him.

Crazy when Berman asked Suge, why can't he leave the bullshyt alone, he told him, "it's all I know." Damn shame.
On Simmons podcast he said the east coast west coast thing just didn't make sense to him. He was like you guys are making 10s of millions of dollars, what's there to be angry about :why::pachaha:
