I haven't seen the last episode.. but I think 50 not being included means he might get the second season..and the last episode of that series will tie it back to Dre.. :yeshrug:

Cool doc. A little buttoned up, but whatever. Dre barely was willing to apologize about what he did to Dee Brown. Worse than the beating, he ruined her career and had her blackballed. But he makes it sound like he's the victim from the incident.

Easy was dope label exec.

Dre a genius on the boards, basically producing, engineering & mastering the Chronic without the help of any label. Nobody wanted to touch the album because of the paperwork attached to it.

Iovine rode with Dre till the end when he could have ditched him after he didn't appear to be profitable anymore.

Everyone called Dre out for being gunshy and scared to release new music at some point in his career. Snoop, Eminem, Iovine, his wife, etc... It's like dude had this disease and it got progressively worse as he got older.

Seeing how he made talking to my diary made me wish he did all of Compton like that as far as his verses. One of the few records he sounded good on. Kendrick or whoever had dude sounding ridiculous on that album:scust:

Seeing a young Snoop Dogg was:wow:. I got chills when I heard Lil Ghetto boy start playing at the end of one of the episodes.

Seems like Iovine adopted Dre and been caring dude for quite a while. (Beats, Apple Deal, etc...) Dre aint really created shyt in a long ass while.

According to the "doc," when Suge was around Jimmy, JFK Jr, and the nice white people, it was all love and Sunday touch football in Jimmy's backyard.

What the "doc" should've done was contrast Suge's teddy bear behavior with white people against his threats, intimidation, and violence against his own. I guess that would have gotten in the way of the bedtime story.

And nothing about Tupac and his crew beating down the director of the film? How was that left out?

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Incredible documentary

and I loved that we got Dre speaking candidly on Suge killing Terry at the end.

Dre still comes off EXTREMELY secretive to me. More than most entertainers. He avoids questions about beat downs on death row when he says "I'm not saying that on camera"
i know it's mad late but i finally saw this... god i hate the way he spoke on suge and terry. as if they didn't gang up on dude and start punching him through the car. i get that you hate the dude. but you dry snitching AND lying. basically saying he killed the dude for no reason when you didn't even see it... which is a lie cause he killed the dude by trying to leave out of there while getting bombed on

Imagine how much unreleased shyt like this he has in the vault. :ohhh:

He suffers from the same shyt Andre 3000 has. Either they are obsessive compulsive perfectionists or they are afraid to tarnish the legacy. :hubie:

Every big rapper in the game has mentioned putting in work for Detox. And he has 4 Dipset songs he produced that the world has never heard. :stopitslime:

That's some next level shyt when you are so ill and revered that you can use the games most elite rappers for your own personal mixtapes. :ohlawd:

Because at this point all that music he's hoarding is shyt he listens to in his own house or car and we will probably never hear it!:damn:
