The definitive reason why women get paid less than men

It does cost companies more to employ women, so I understand the pay discrepancy from a business perspective. Being a woman, a single mother at that, I'd rather have more time off and overall flexibility than money.

I done worked on construction sites all men and mufukkas still be starting rumors and talking shyt about each other behind they back. It's human nature bro there's always gonna be some people we like and some people we don't and there is always gonna be somebody in the way.

What typea village people nikkas you worked with? I swear all the men in my company barely acknowledge each other. We discuss business and that's it. 90% of the broads be chatting all got damned day. Then they wanna come talk to me like I aint got shyt to do. Same thing with the satellite offices I visit. Women all over just talking. Talking. Talking. Talking. Just STFU!

Lies, lies, and more lies.

The world told this lie and then I got into the workplace around nothing but men and it’s the pettiest, chattiest, nastiest, more insecure hellhole on earth.

I won’t even go into male academics. U won’t find any women that come close to their levels of pettiness.

I’ve seen dudes legit tear each other apart with gossip, so we need to dead these lies with a quickness. Dudes can be complete and utter hens. And this is why I don’t take em seriously when they talk about accountability, b/c men always accusing women of shot they are way more guilty of themselves.

I've always thought that women were actually paid less NOT because employers pay them less, but they do jobs that are lower paying than most jobs men do. However, with today's job market and the recessions were faced with, its gonna be in equal, in a bad way though.

This and then when adjusted for similar employment, women literally work less hours between vacation/sick days/maternity leave.

I've had women say dumb shyt. Like one girl that would always whine about her on/off boyfriend that worked with us, she one time made a scene about me not recognizing her at the gym because she didn't have her make-up on

But I've had a few women tell me that I can come off as unapproachable before in the workplace.

This. They’re not paid less, they’re earning less.

Also, there was a study showing women were less likely than men to ask for a raise.

And... especially when it comes to smaller businesses, they’d rather hire a man or a woman who is no longer of a child bearing age than a young woman. Maternity leaves can really mess up the structure of a small business. Wrongly or rightly.
