Remember how the media swore that Joe was the only guy that can unite the party and pass meaning legislation?:duck:

And before you shyt lib, establish, nut hugging dems get offended and call out progressives. I'll admit that probably progressives wouldn't be able to pass things under these circumstances as well. However, one thing for sure they ain't going down saying "I don't know if we can get this done:to:"

Get this loser outta of my sight with that loser mentality. :hhh::hhh:

I've been saying all week Biden has no plan to get voting rights passed and that's why that speech in Georgia on Tuesday was a farce. :yeshrug:

I will say that Manchin and Sinema have cover due to the horrendous media framing: "Oh, they really really want voting rights passed, but golly they just can't get behind a carveout to the filibuster." Which means they're not for voting rights. Any other explanation is horseshyt.

And the media and bytchmade Democrats like Durbin said Biden went 'too far' in comparing them to being on the side of segregationists and confederate leaders, which is one of the only things he did right in that speech. :francis:

Dems are too segmented to pass meaningful legislation

The only way for dems to pass meaningful legislation is to retain control of the house and have 53-54 seats in the Senate

A 50-50 split senate is too conducive to fckry based on moderate dems getting elected in swing states and weighing their political futures on appeasing an independent base and not their party base

Progressives look stupider by the day for allowing the bipartisan infrastructure bill to pass.

'Progressives' are no different from establishment dems at this point. They're just as ineffectual and bad at politics as the centrists, arguably worse.

Manchin punked them worse than he's been doing to Biden. They did all that puffing their chests about how BIF will not pass the House until BBB passes the Senate. When Biden said he could get Manchin on board, all Manchin would say was, "Hey it says a lot if they can't even trust our president. :hubie:"

That plus Pelosi punking them again meant the whole caucus would cave on BIF, at which point Manchin went on FOX News and tanked BBB. And the only response from Jayapal and her caucus has been :yeshrug:.

So all they accomplished in the end was contributing to the 'Dems in disarray' narrative which helped tank Biden's approval rating, making a deal on BBB less likely. :snoop:

Yup. All summer/fall they held firm and then it was easy to break them. Manchin walking around the Hill as a boss. It's crazy.
