I know this was meant to be a shock thread and I strongly disagree I think the movie is far from hot garbage...
... but I think Nicholson is pretty weak in it. Always did. That role should have went to Deniro. Mean old irish crime boss? Come on Deniro woulda crushed it.

Breh ...you just throw shyt at the wall and see what sticks, don't you? That movie was a masterpiece and very well written. If you didn't have an adrenaline rush while watching, you're not a true movie fan.

you want to watch a good crime film set in boston? watch the town. cus thats 10x better than the departed.
I fukks with the Town, but it's a 6/10 ..it drags a little, the Departed 8/10 ...with no drag, I just don't like the lack of black characters.
The town was amazing and I agree it was better than the Departed; but ya'll got some great tv crime over there in UK; Luther, The Take, and The Fall are all great
