it sounds better because of its placement on Mastermind. On its own "Devil is a Lie" is not a single, its just a strong album filler song.

Sanctified with Kanye and Big Sean should of been the single, but I its sounds so new I could see the label being scared it would flop. Maybe "I Wonder Why" but for that the politics likely got it cut from the album.
