I just hated how they killed Sheriff Wydell. That dude was too bad ass to go out like that.

House of 1000 Corpses revived the slasher genre in my opinion

Devil's Rejects was the perfect follow up...

Trash film. Demonic poop. Straight to recycle bin release. D level film. Sad this was actually in theatres. The demonic white trash movement flopped hard. Ive met many rural southerners who are good people. This film painted them in a bad light and i didnt like that. This ones going to the steamroller pile to be squashed into shambles. Its so demonic, friends.

Yep, love all of Rob Zombie's movies. His remake of Halloween was great. I'm very critical of horror movies because its my favorite genre but he's really good. I don't even mind that he puts his wife in all of em, she always plays the characters really interestingly.

House of 1000 corpses was awful and I had been hyped for that movie. His directing and style was just an extension of his music videos and it came out really bad.

but devils rejects was fire. Loved that movie.

The Devil's Rejects is Rob ZOmbie's best movie but it is still not that great when looked at objectively. All of the flaws in his directing style are present but not as horribly executed as in the two shytty Halloween movies or the ameteurish HOuse.
