Apologies if this is an ongoing thread but it didn't come up when I searched. There have been marches across the diaspora, Canada, US, Jamaica and Lomdon in support of Burkina Faso's leader Ibrahim Trarore after a failed assassination attempt. There is a link below which shows CSpan coverage of the UN council where the US ambassador to the UN saying about using the gold mines to benefit the rich. Im out of the loop and was hoping someone here was able to provide insight.
