Steele is trying to make it black and white, but he's assuming the jury can't comprehend the complexities of relationships, especially ones involving abuse. People can still love their abusers. Many children are fukked up by the abuse of their parents but still have love for their parents. You can clearly see a pattern that puffy sought out people that were looking for a father figure or someone to idolize. It's not shocking they can still have love for him after the heinous shyt he did to them.
I hate ya'll i really do. I damn well choked on my Seltzer water
They already did and she got destroyed on the cross. The prosecution needs to call a therapist and a psychologist to the stand to explain to the jury while someone who was abused might act in the manner that they do towards their abuser.
Women that stay with their abusive husbands aren't helpless children either. These are not helpless children who depend on their parents for everything. These are grown adults who made a choice that money, fame and access to celebrities is more important than their dignity. No different than women who go to dubai to be a toilet for money and then cry about it later. Self Accountability does not mean your abuser has no accountability. But I don't give clout chasers and money hungry people who lacked morals the benefit of the doubt when it comes to circumstantial evidence, which is 90% of this trial. If what you are saying on the stand now doesnt match your text messages and evidence in real time from 10 years ago I'm not buying it.
“How are you best friends with a man who raped you?”
“ ask my therapist”

We not talking about wives. This was an employee. And she did leave when wanted to and nothing happened to her. And she sued puff for her bonuses. She was so scared all this time to leave but she wasn't scared to sue and piss off puff more? She chose to work without sleep. She even admitted she took it as a challenge. Wall street and investment firms are no different with working folks 100+ hours a week.Women that stay with their abusive husbands aren't helpless children either.
Many of these witnesses are being forced to testify against their will, are corroborating each other, and don't have cases against Puff or anything to gain. Dropping the names of Swizz Beats, Prince's bodyguards, and others that could be subpoenaed to disprove them and have them charged with perjury if they're lying. Just because they wanted to live that celebrity lifestyle doesn't mean they deserved to be forced to work multiple days without sleep, be denied compensation, called insubordinate if Puff was in a bad mood, forced to take drugs, choked, punched, kidnapped etc. etc.
Cassie's behavior 10 years ago also doesn't match what she's saying now, but we have her on video getting beat, pictures her face split open, and many witnesses giving testimony to the abuse.

And yes Cassie's behavior is in question too. That's the whole point of this trial. For cassie it comes down to whether you believe she was consenting. All their text and messages are fair game and evidence. The best and most powerful evidence is always the ones that are closest to the time of the alleged crime.
The first 24 hours was a challenge cuz she was new. The five days without sleep was later and she didn't sleep until Puff gave permission. So you TRULY believe all these witnesses are lying, risking perjury charges even though they aren't here voluntarily? Name dropping notable people that could get them caught up in perjury charges? This is all a conspiracy that his former employees have masterminded to bring him down? Do you know how fukking ridiculous that sounds? We not talking about wives. This was an employee.
