Not gonna lie, unless they have some crazy defense planned, his questioning of these witnesses has been weak.

Only thing I can think of is they gonna call a witness a week or two from now to say Puff didnt have a gun. That's the only way this line of questioning makes sense. As it stands they really have poked a hole in the kidnapping shyt, they dispute the being held for 5 days thing either.

They brought up another dude being given a lie detector, so they're probably gonna call him and ask if he was kidnapped, too. He's gonna say no, and that's gonna be their defense. But, she never said they were there together.

You do know the defense have their own witnesses? We don’t know that there may be testimony to debunk those statements.

Didnt dispute Puff told her to tell Cudi not to get the police involved. Didnt call her out for telling Cudi "He will hurt us all if you talk to the police. It seemed like that wouldve been an easy statement to catch her in a lie, but it seems like they didnt even bother to touch it.

Corroborated. Who can’t get on that stand and be coached to say keywords and corroborate? It’s all out there. That’s literally how these civil suits work. When they get crossed, they trip up thus this trial being a toss up.

hat was an example and committing perjury isn’t the issue. The AUSA is asking questions a specific way and I believe folks would lie by omission. Leaving out key facts that the cross has to dig out.

So what are your thoughts on how this cross went in regards to disputing the kidnapping/threats/beating etc?
