The Dilemma of being funny

have you noticed that funny people that always are known for cracking jokes have this side to them where they get tired of joking, and whenever they try to get serious people try to turn the convo back to a joking conversation?

celebrity examples:

Ashton Kutcher, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx, Adam Sandler, Kevin James....are some examples

people know them for being funny, but when you see them in interviews (talk shows, etc) and the person interviewing tries to get them to joke, they half ass it....


its just something I picked up...and I know people personally that get frustrated that they arent allowed to show depth......
