I mean he's good but not Top 10. Dude definitely got lyrics and is a good performer but his subject matter just doesn't have enough depth for the most part. You gotta make more than just club hits to be Top 10 IMO.

He's top 20 to me but not 10. Skinny Busta would have been top 10 no doubt. Cocaine talk Busta was regressesive and hurt his legacy a bit. Like a start that plummeted into the ground chasing mediocrity to fit in. He was above all that shyt. Doing superstar shyt legit. Songs with Janet to drug dealer raps

ALl of this is IMHO because I love Busta, but I think he's not and the main reason is his discography. He doesn't have a classic album, and there are too many artists with classic albums to put Busta in the top 10. And I might even say his discography is a little bit underrated, but there's definitely not a classic in there.

But I value discographies big time when talking top 10.

So skill wise if someone said he were top 10 I might not argue with that, but as a 'solo artist' the body of work just isn't there.

Busta is one of my favorites ever though. He's a lot like Method Man IMO. One of the best ever, one of the best and most original voices ever. Super original. Great features. Quality solo albums, but neither have a true classic, and both could be argued as top 10 skill wise, but the discography doesn't allow them to be there for most people.
