I have never heard a nikka say let me get some polenta with them bacon and eggs.
Yea it does exist, but you not gone see it on a menu at Waffel House or IHOP. Like it's not a staple specifically in black households.
A rose is still a rose by any other name. Cheesy Grits and Cheesy polenta look exactly the same and taste the same.
