The Dual Shock 4 is a huge waste

Developers are lazy as fukk these days. The DS4 is the best controller, ahead of the competition in lightyears but its potentioal is going to waste cause of these lazy ass devs. The lightbar is being used in some games but in all FPS why dont the shyt start flashing red everytime u get hit? that would be cool. also the speaker on the controller is hardly used. GTA uses it nicely, more games need to pick up. The biggest waste is the touchpad. the touchpad is amazing its basically a mouse build in the the controller. idk how i would use it but what yall think lets hear some ideas

good points outside of the light bar...I dont pay any attention to it when gaming, since you cant really see it. Think it might flash if the battery is dieing, but I never seem to notice it.

I think the headset/mic is the biggest waste. I remember rainbow six 3 for the og Xbox had your ai teammates and commander voice going through the headset rather than your TV. That right there was revolutionary as far as game audio goes. I was hoping Cortana in Halo 2 would do this but no games since have implement this feature.

It depends on the game you're playing. Tomb Raider uses the light for damage and I think KZ too. The Lightbar is needed for the PS Morpheus.
Speaker integration again varies. Every functionality is used somewhat in various games. If you not playing every game, how would you know what is good or bad about the touchpad?

I wish I could turn the lightbar off just for this very reason. my DS3's should not have 3 times the battery life of my DS4's despite those DS3's being old as dirt.

I like the light. I would rather have it on the controller than a extra hour or 2 of battery. When my shyt die just plug it in laptop so it doesn't really affect

Shadow of Mordor makes good use of it too. I know there's other games that use it too. It's a dope feature. Infamous was the best one. I remember the first time I shook the can of spray paint and heard the little mixing ball.

the phone with GTA is cool coming on speaker. i feel like playing FPS online if you dont have a mic plug in it should come out the controller speaker. there should be an option on the ps4 for that. also like when you have low health it should announce through the speaker "low health warning"
