What does it matter? Who cares about the 3-8 seeds? The same teams win the Finals every year. Spurs, Lakers and now Heat with Dallas and Detroit stealing 1 each. Yall arguing about ultimately pointless 1st and 2nd round matchups.

Well, this playoffs has been the easiest run for the Heat. There is no team in the conference right now that could have taken the Heat to game 7. The Bulls had a possible chance until Rose got injured again. If the Bulls acquired a formidable aquistion in the offseason, they will increase their chance to beat the Heat. If not, the prophecy of the Heat winning 6 or more championship by Lebron will likely come true.
Let's be real here, injuries killed off east contendors not being "weak" as the OP states.

The east had the top 5 teams bulls, cheat, pacers, knicks, nets all primed to win 50+ games, but injuries took away from it.
