So...if folks are going to sit in here and complain about him taking on Sheamus, suggest another face that could ELEVATE Bray by putting him over.

Look at what's happening. They're trying to build Reigns and Bray up to be a marquee match-up in the future, but trying to avoid stepping on too many toes along the way.

Yea. I remember this was supposed to be the move for the summer until Jericho decided to come back.

Those USO/Sheamus-Wyatts six man tags were pretty good. It feels that a Bray US title run seems academic. I would've said the same thing about Harper/Rowan with the tag belts but it seems like they've soured on them and tag wrestling AGAIN.

As much as I like Show and Henry as a team, they won't benefit from a title run as much as Harper/Rowan. shyt like that and the Bo Dallas situation, and the lack of opportunity given to Kofi, Big E., & Woods frustrate me the most as a viewer.

Ehhh...I feel like the US Title would really benefit Rusev's push more. Give it to him, have him rename it the Russian Federation Heavyweight Title, and hold it for like 8 months to build heat. If you're going to go the jingoistic route (which I abhor), at least build it so someone can benefit when they finally beat him.

I'm not even sure what to do with Bray at this point. He just seems so directionless. The only two options I can see with him that would keep him in a significant position is feuding him with Reigns (which could help both, but with the way that WWE is booking Reigns, he'll just go over and further kill Wyatt) or feuding him with Orton (which could either turn Orton face or turn Wyatt face, who knows). They REALLY missed the boat by getting nothing out of him feuding with Cena.

Oh, and I'm not even sure what the purpose of Rowan and Harper is anymore. Jobbing to two directionless 40 year old hosses on consecutive shows?

Rusev makes more sense in regards to his storyline. LOL, imagine if he replaced the US flag on the title with a Russian flag. Probably won't happen because of financial purposes.

The Wyatt Family is currently in purgatory and it hasn't been a year since they debuted. At times it feels like Bray has the Jake Roberts Syndrome, where he doesn't need a title to be effective. Also, the Cena feud was immensely devastating to Bray because he lost the battle AND the war. We could talk all day about that one, but I don't want to digress into that.

That's the problem when you don't have a strong mid-card babyface to go against a heel of Bray's caliber. Jericho was supposed to bring him back, but at this point, non-dirtsheet fans know Jericho is going to lose. Honestly, he should've destoyed Jericho. Don't even make it a competitive feud. They could've had it with Cesaro but wasted an opportunity. If the Undertaker wasn't so , he and Bray would've been perfect for one another.

Holy shyt thats an excellent idea. But as far as bray, I said it when he first came in NXT. The babyfaces are too shallow(even by wrestling standards) for a character like Bray. He is tailor made for the attitude era. The feuds he would have had with SCSA, Taker, and esp Foley would have been Instead its no selling Cena and nite brite jacket wearing 40 yr old Jericho

Yea, that would be cool. Give him the US title first then the IC title. He has a case of being THE world champ. (I might be sicing it but whatever). He could then challenge the babyface that beats Brock for the title whomever that is, and it could be built around RUSEV wanting to to finish his conquest of the "weak" American wrestlers in the WWE.

But seriously I'm indifferent to Bray right now. Not his fault. He made the most of what was given to him; a half assed character in a world with 1/5th assed characters and no real stories. He's still gets good/great reactions so there's time to save him. He'll never reach his true potential though. WWE is just not character driven anymore.
