Of course, that's why the people have no electricity. :francis:

I had many Nigerian friends during my last flush of pan Africanism. It eventually occurred to me that the stateside mansions with pool-houses and grounds and security where we frolicked over summer break (which I very much enjoyed) were being paid for by the people back home- kinda sucked the fun out, ngl.

Had me feeling like a colonizer and I never even been over there, crazy.
Yeeeeeeeeea it’s not a good feeling.

Yea I wasn’t comfortable with the blatant disparity. Homes were gated with armed security outside at night.

I mean, my friends are nice girls; they were born in it. It’s not like they rub it in anyone’s faces or anything. It’s just the way it is.

That being said, yea the wealth needs to be spread across many of those nations. Nigeria is fully capable of being a true powerhouse on this planet and the people shouldn’t be living like this.
Yeah I dated a chick who was the daughter of a Nigerian Brigadier General who owned some stores in america. They just had paper My girl had a Benz that she wasn’t allowed to drive ( this was in High school) we bonded over being overdressed and wearing shyt that we seen in Vogue and GQ.

Did you see a major slum? The slums are on a other level. But so are their markets the hustle mindset was amazing. Carricor Market in TZ was wild they sold everything in there. Way cheaper than Kenya

I heard all you hear in Nigeria is noise pollution from millions of generators blarring all through the day and night:huhldup:

I now understand why Nigerians speak so loudly:francis:

On a serious note, Dangote can fix this seeing as how the Government failed the people.

Nigeria also need a one child policy..there's simply too many people to provide for

Uh…it’s very unnerving to be in stores, salons, etc and the power randomly shuts off.
:hubie: Keeping it 💯

That being said, my friends live lavishly over there and I was legit being chauffeured in maybachs. Many people live without the basic creature comforts that are baseline for us.
Hold up G you’re a frequent traveler to Nigeria? Hit me in the PM

Duh.

That’s why all the smart ones come to America and tether on to us.

Your friends are the reason their other 99% live in squalor and blame white people.
