Well theres no state that has an $11 minimum wage, but there are a couple cities that are just below or above $11 (San Francisco and DC I think). All this $15 dollar talk is what some city/states are approving to increase it to over several years, not right now. The headlines are misleading for obvious reasons. I think the state of Washington has the highest legislated minimum wage of $9.30-something, and about to get bumped up again tomorrow.min wage 11 and 15when there's states still at 7 and 8

Thats why they dont want you to support folks getting paid more. Thats why some of us flip out and ask ridiculous questions like why should they get so and so for flipping burgers. As we fight the fry flipper, they continue to rake in the cash.I'm with yall on this one...nikkas getting $15 for minimum wage my ass want $25 then![]()
Their logic is that raising the minimum wage that high will effect everyone because service providers will raise their prices accordingly to recoup the money spent to raise it. Essentially things will stay the same (which would be pointless) or get even worse because minimum wage consumers wont be buying more with their money because things will become proportionately more expensive anyway and those who were already above minimum wage will be paying the price of inflation for a demograph that started a useless economic bulldozer. Thats what opposers are saying the issue is.I can't spend anybody else money raise that shyt up, why would that effect me?
