they sent a geoligist from some prestigious university in the states over to egypt to study the pyramids and the sphinx and stuff. and the sphinx is suffering from water erosion caused by rain. and the last time there was rain heavy and constant enough to cause erosion in Egypt was at least 10000 years ago. this is proven.

I agree with Dafunkdoc. It isn't. Sand (and wind) erosion is the more likely explanation and the data is consistent with that.
