This lunch took place in 1971/1972…..5-6 years before Star Wars was released. I’m not trying to suggest Lucas ripped off Kirby’s idea but there is no doubt Kirby influenced his epic story heavily."

The Fourth World saga was Kirby's planned storyline after Asgard (the old gods) would disappear following Ragnarok. Kirby however had grown so displeased with Marvel taking all copyright and creative custody to characters he created, that he left for DC where he implemented all of his ideas (some of his ideas he had already put in Inhumans to test the waters with Marvel).
