Puff is a fake producer. He don’t touch no knobs, hit no pads, play no keys, etc... Puff is a peon when it comes to JD in terms of producing. JD has actually skill and not just “vision” Puff is not a musical genius. He’s a music industry genius. It’s a difference. I don’t give a fukk how many times he told someone to sample some shyt that was already a hit. As if, that’s an indicator of being a visionary. He’s a great mogul masquerading as a prolific producer. No nikka, you are great at receiving credit for minimal contributions and for saying we need this nikka on this song with this bytch. That shyt ain’t hard and is not a high level skill. JD actually has skill. He touches the equipment and does all the shyt puff does as far as having “vision”

Without vision, one van't be a producer. At that point, they are a button pusher. And JD is also a visionary and he'd probably frown on that post because while JD also makes beats, he has often not touched a key, but put everything together. A lot of ya'll don't even know who Carl So Lowe is or that Bryan Michael Cox also co-produced songs with JD.
And The Booth loves downplaying Puff knowing next to nothing about music production. Puff has been involved in classic on top of classic. "He just had someone loop an 80's sample and have someone rap and/or sing over it". We've seen others attempt to do the same thing in that era and FLOP or put out something that sounded wack by comparison. Biggie, Mase, Mary, 112, Faith, Total and countless others are on record speaking of Puff's genius.
I know JD has worked with Bryan Michael Cox before. Are you insinuating that JD is taking credit for others work, or riding someone else's coattails? I dont understand the point. Like I said, JD is a visionary IN ADDITION to having an actual physical skill set. The nikka has discovered, came up with the image, written, AND PHYSICALLY PRODUCED whole albums for artist. Puff not in that nikka league.
