game was supposed to change video gaming.. Required too good of a computer to run it smooth though so it hurt the general public.. that and star wars mmo at the time pretty much reason World of Warcraft changed their engine and graphics to be more accessible to the public (dumbed down the graphics).
For the youngins that dont remember, World of Warcraft was originally supposed to be a Mature Rated, high end graphic PVP centered game. Did a complete flip and became a cartoonish graphics teen rated PVE game with PVP elements
