actually the PS3 had full backwards capability with the OG versions in 2006. my first PS3 was fully backwards compatible. and to be honest, I RARELY even used that feature. by the time my OG PS3 got the YLOD, I didn't really even care anymore about no longer having the feature.

I used the fukk out of the backwards compatible on my fat 80 GB PS3. Used it for DMC3, Resident Evil 4, Capcom vs SNK 2 and Persona 3 and 4.

Same here. Well I found out a while ago but the whole time I owned a PS2 I didn't know it could go online. Wouldn't have mattered since I was still on 56k Dial up.

i remember playing madden 04 online on a dial up connection. shyt was as fukk, all lag. the only nikka on the block with the "official" updated rosters though .



got the ps3 at launch and sold my ps2 for like $20 in 07 because i wanted spiderman 3 tickets, ain't even buy them . my 20gb held me down until it got ylod in 2014. copped a refurb 80gb last year though.
