My tip would be to use your credit card for a weeks worth of gas or somethin u purchase regularly because that's was money u were gonna spend anyway, and just pay it back in full when your payment is due

makes sense in theory, but a lot of people don't have that kinda discipline when it comes to their credit card.

This.

Especially if you get points for purchase. shyt you shouldn't even own a credit card that doesn't give your some type of points or perks.

one big tip i have is to have fraud protection on your credit cards and debit cards. and also have it setup to where your bank calls you when they see a big charge. i also have overdraft protection that links to my credit card and my savings.

why do i say this? nikka tried to gank me out of a stack in san francisco (where ive never visited) by going to macys and nordstroms (i guess another person?) with my card number some how. new card on the way anyways. CHASE knows my activity.

The big thing here is discipline. yea i buy 365635365 sneakers but i don't keep a balance on my credit card. straight cash homie.

dont take out big loans for college. no matter how u look at it, ur a dumbass if you do.

dont hang too much with friends who dont see the value in having savings.

I actually have 2 accounts, one with BOA and another with a local credit union. But overall the credit union is much better

i should have gone to comm. college first but i didnt. even if i would have made straight A's and did super smart borrowing i would have still ended school with at least 5-10K debt.
