FTC argues semantics, creates new console market that doesn't include Nintendo
The Federal Trade Commission has created a new 'high-performance console' market definition that does not include the $62 billion Nintendo Switch platform.

Nintendo is not a competitor to Sony or Microsoft and hasn't been so in years. Almost nobody walks into a store and makes an either or decision to buy a Nintendo console vs a Sony / Microsoft console.
So you saying the type of gamer that wants to play stuff like Grand Theft Auto, Madden, Fifa, Battlefield, Call of Duty is seriously looking at a Switch and a PS5 and weighing which one they want and will only buy one? The primary driver of a Nintendo console purchase is Nintendo content almost exclusively.
This happened and still happens all the time.
I remember when I did part time work at GameStop people would come in and get the Wii over everything.
