In this year long series I will highlight 365 players both present and past...mostly past...all to ask one simple question....
The fukk He At??
I will simply research a player and give a brief rundown of their career and then give an update as to what they are doing with their present lives
nikka I'm bored........
Xavier McDaniel (55)
Size: 6'7" 218lbs
Position: SF/pf
School/Nationality: Wichita State
Draft: 1985, 4th overall by Seattle Supersonics
Teams: Supersonics Suns Knicks Celtics Nets
Accolades: All Rookie 1st team, All Star 1988
Career Stats: 15.6ppg, 6.1rpg, 2apg
I hated Xavier McDaniel...no matter how good he was he was just a player that I didn't fukk wit
He was definitely a league villain in the same breath as Ron Artest...he was an instant baller though
He finished second in rookie of the Year votes to Patrick Ewing and was part of a big 3 in Seattle with Tom chambers and Dale Ellis....they even made it to a conference final
He was traded to the Suns then the Knicks within a year in 90-91 and was a beast in Riley's system
In 95 he went to go play in Greece then came back to the Nets for 3 more seasons before retiring
In short he was really good and a top notch defender but fukk him
Today it seems like he's dedicated to giving back to the community in Wichita with his college teammates
Here's a link to a news report from earlier this year about it if you're interested
