bruh, I haven't been to Mardi Gras since 2002. Where is a good spot to get a room? Is it a must to be close to Bourbon? I'm gon be in a rental, I know parking high on regular days. I probably can't get down until late Monday or early Tues. I'm trying to see the Zulus, where they gon be? Uptown? Which club are going to be really on?

i dont think its a must to be around burbon, anywhere around the downtown area is good, not like anything is so far away, im going to zulu early in the am, uptown around jackson street where it first starts

Gotta experience a second line in person at some point in my life.

Pre-Katrina New Orleans was the ONLY city I was super excited about visiting. And that was over LA, NYC and Honolulu.

I'm still gonna visit Nawlins, but it just doesn't seem the same post-Katrina.
