The future will not be Africa until serious changes are made. There is still mass poverty and weak infrastructure across Africa. Many African governments are gonna be in serious debt to the Chinese in a few decades. When China comes to collect what it’s owed we’ll see some very interesting events unfold. I’m not that optimistic.

I don't believe it. Africa is growing indeed but its still nothing compared to the growth happening right now in Asian countries like India, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. Not to mention African governments are still corrupt and dependent on foreign investment to survive.

Honestly that's a sign that it's the future. Assuming it follows the natural progression of undeveloped -> developed, there's not really any better place. Tons of space, tons of natural resources and a population of over 1 billion, if they can unify in some way or at least co-develop, Africa is the future for real. Not sleeping on Asia either, but I think Africa has much more potential

Its a matter of When not If. The resources are right there, the labor is right there. The middle class market is growing there everyday.
Barring major pan African conflicts Im thinking in 50 years Africa will have surpassed Asia becoming the world's manufacturing base of operations and setting the tone for everything. Right now there is still heavy dependence on foreign influence but that can all change with the stroke of a pen, a few strong militaries, a few morally upright leaders and some bloody unity.

This is only good, if Africans use their huge numbers, to depend on each other and forget the rest of the world. A lot of things need to be improved. If that doesn't happen, Africans will have numbers and money, but will still invest most of that, in Europe.

the United States is not prepared

- The Washington Post

What goes up must come down :manny:
I dont see why this is so hard for Americans to accept. But it wont be as early as some anticipate the decline to be. They have a while to go.

THe narrator doesnt really know what hes talking about tho.
