Funded by Geoff Keighley and backed by the three console makers.

This is separate from the Sony event going on tomorrow morning.

There's going to be new footage of upcoming games like Bloodborne, The Order 1886 and No Man's Sky as well as world premiers for unannounced games I assume.

  • Josef Fares the director behind wonderful indie title Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, has also hinted at an announcement.
  • Fallout 4 won't be making its expected debut (but most people – including myself - will assume this is smoke and mirrors until the show is over).
  • Microsoft aren't planning "any new game announcements" for the show. Trailers for existinggames (Say Scalebound or Rise of the Tomb Raider) are still possible.

Im in for the reveals.
When have the annual video game award shows ever had any big reveals? They save that stuff for dedicated conferences or E3. Every year people go in thinking this year will be different and every year Geoff Keighley hypes up virtually nothing.

I'll have this running on one of my TVs muted.

Dark Souls 2, Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and The Last of Us debuted at the VGA's.
