Remember when 50 Cent and The Game were heavily beefing? It happened shortly after Dr. Dre talked Fif into bringing the Compton rapper on to G-Unit, just to get his name out there since he was a new act at the time.
After a while, things turned sour, and it happened when The Game didn't co-sign 50's beef with Jadakiss and Fat Joe, who at the time were big enemies of the G-Unit leader.
During those years, it was obvious the G-Unit boss was the bigger artist and had a lot more money than his West Coast foe but flash to 2016 and the tables have completely turned.
According to TMZ, 50's now worth about $16 million in total.
He has $7.4 million in his bank account, plus about $8.8 million in property and assets. Of course, this is a dramatic drop from the rapper's earlier years when he sold his interest in Vitaminwater for an amount that was reported to be as high as $100 million.
Game on the other hand, seems to be rolling in it. Yesterday (Jan. 26), the Black Wall Street leader posted a screenshot of a wire transfer, which showed he has $13 million in just one of his accounts.
Yesterday, the "Documentary 2" creator even pulled $500,000 out of his own pocket and brought water for the people of Flint, Mich. He also called out other celebs for donating too little.
So at this point, the question is, would you consider The Game victorious in his beef with 50? Yes, it started and kind of ended a long time ago, but rap fans never really declared a winner.
In addition, the Cali spitter's music is still discussed more than 50s, so it seems he's done a better job of releasing songs that get more buzz.
Of course, Fif could change things around and improve his financial status by closing a new deal or scoring a new movie role so you can't totally count him out. It is ironic, however, that the person 50 helped out at the beginning of his career is now richer than he is, and it's safe to say that a lot of folks didn't see that coming.
