According to a report from TMZ, Taylor died unexpectedly in his sleep and was found by a family member in his Apple Valley, Calif. home. The family member alerted a neighbor who called 911 but when the fire department arrived at 8:30 a.m., Taylor was unresponsive. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Game previously rapped about his father on the song "Bloody Moon," rapping, "My father left me when I was seven, at a home/Left me but took his chrome, I looked up and blood was gone/Man, fukk it, guess in the world I'm all alone."

"You know, I learned a long time ago not to tell nobody what to do with their kids, man," the rapper said. "It's his kid, you know?"

The Game added, "He doing what he doing, man, but I'm pretty sure whatever decision he made was in the best interest of his child."
