I'm very close to 23 years old. I know what it was like being an intelligent and self aware child. I know what it's like when ur parent's think ur just a DUMB KID but ur just as intelligent as they are due to u having more access and information than they did. If you think u know what's best for someone become a psychiatrist not a parent. imo parenting is about nurturing and teaching survival skills not controlling.
