It's because of all the distortion of the gospel and Torah that we have the Quran. But I've read the book, albeit years ago. It almost describes Christ as a ultimate Buddha type iirc.

It's been a minute so pardon if I'm wrong.
As I remember, the book was Jesus revealing to his best friend, Judas the nature of his "divinity" as an explanation on why Judas HAD to be the one to "betray" him. He extrapolates that he is or is one with the Lord of worlds and will move on to other planets/dimensions. He is a man elevated by God to continue divine service as a king and messenger to other planets.
Some forms of Buddhism express that nirvana leads to becoming a Buddha and having your own peaceful planet or place in a plane. Kinda like dragonball supreme Kai type stuff.
The whole thing is potentially satanic as it's a conceit to forgive Judas considering his sin was a divinely functional one and at Christ's request. But again, I'd have to revisit.

Saint Peter and Judas both have equal cake to eat in the betrayal, but Christ taught us forgiveness and we have Saint Peter but nothing for Judas. If its at Christ request.
I think its because the Judas prophecy is slightly more obscured than we interpret.

@Ol Man Skrenf to fully explain the other part of my post, the Quran is the only message in abrahamic religion that is seen as the true word of God and their last revelation. There are many aya addressing continual attempts to assault, discredit, and kill God's prophets. That's why I find it best to follow the Quran and pursue the previous books with a true intent to learn.
