If CP hadn't been (a) already going for the flop of GP (b) focusing on yelling at the refs to call a foul while the ball was in play, maybe he wouldn't have let the ball go out of bounds and the refs would have even had time to consider a foul, rather than Paul letting the ball go out (in hopes of a foul) and ending play himself.

Dude should really play ball and stop trying to play for fouls.

That's the one thing I hate about his game. He wasted about five possessions on wild shots trying to draw whistles. Playoff possessions are too crucial to gamble them on a whistle, that many times.

You seriously can't watch the NBA if you've never seen players get late calls, especially players as popular as Chris Paul. Dude should focus on winning at all costs instead of playing and looking for bail outs. Can't always count on the refs, so he should count on himself. Refs aren't working for a ring. He is.

Dude was yelling at the refs and looking at them instead of focusing on playing ball and where he was dribbling.

And Warriors got wayyyyy worse calls than the Clippers. Their's just came in the beginning. Warriors played a real shyt game to be honest. It's amazing that the Clips didn't win because of all the things they actually had going their way.

Thats the smart thing to do when refs are calling touch fouls and every great player does the same thing. The problem is when the refs decide to be bipolar all game. Call touch fouls on certain players, others get mugged and cant buy a whistle. 15 uncalled traveling violations but decide the game on a player stepping out of bounds 82 feet away. Either call it tight or let them play but this Jekyll and Hyde bullshyt fukks up the flow and completely ruins the game.

Yeah, that's what I meant by it being a gamble. On those possessions I mentioned, he wasn't "drawing" fouls, he was flopping for em. The calls were inconsistent, no doubt, I just rather he would have used his strength and iq to get the calls, not his acting.

If you were a coach I'm sure your post-game speech for this game would be:

"CP3, my rock, my knight in shining armor. Thank you for blessing us with your jaw-dropping play. I will make one suggestion though, maybe try and incorporate 3-5 more flops in the next game. This whole team has played perfectly. Don't change anything. It was the refs fault. Anyone who wants to point out these mythical flaws in our gameplay can save their breath and give me 10 suicides.
