It was an awful play, no doubt. Should have at least tried to set a screen to free Curry up or something. I'm cool with the ref holding back on the whistle in an end-game situation, but it's tougher to do so on a jumpshot. Plus you'd figure he'd get that call at home.

Curry pushed off too. Neither gained an edge there. What I noticed was that Curry whenever he senses contact instead of flailing his arms out, he puts them down, which inevitably looks like there's way more contact than there is.


The shot before that I won't argue, but if you're gonna call that ticky tack shyt at the end of games, everyone will foul out of each game the rest of the series.

yeah but if they got the call RIGHT THE FIRST TIME (the three before paul got to shoot fts) then paul would of never got to shoot those free throws AND if curry made the free throw then it would of tied the game with 8 seconds left

clear biases being shown here.. as a neutral NBA fan - curry was pushing off, paul was hand checking, they didn't call either, but there was no foul on the hands/elbows during the shot motion - great D by Paul. Try to screenshot the part of the video where there is contact.. you can't because there is none.

Paul hit him on the elbow and had his forearm on curry when he was in the middle of shooting.

My problem with Harden has been the same for years and consistently the same. I have no problem with somebody that exaggerates contact while keeping a natural shooting motion and truly trying to score. Harden completely sells out trying to draw a foul, usually contorting his body and throwing up a prayer of a shot. For most players if they are flopping and no foul is called it still looks like a regular shot. With Harden it leaves you saying WTF is that?
