The Great Debate: Football vs. Soccer

I always see people say Soccer is better "because it's played everywhere in the world." Well yeah, not many of these countries can afford to play Football with all the equipment that would be needed. If these other countries wanted to invest in Football, it's not like they could get the equipment locally. It would be so expensive to have it brought abroad. Soccer is more popular worldwide because all you need is a ball and a penchant for flopping when no one touches you

My favorite argument is when they call Americans p*ssy because of the pads. Well shyt for brains, NFL players would literally kill each other if they didn't wear pads. You got a 250 LB dude + pads running at you with his 4.6 40 speed aiming to take your head off. You look at these dudes playing Rugby and shyt and they ain't even half the size of the freak NFL players. So the pads really are only making the hits more impacting.

I'm someone who enjoys both sports they are apples and oranges one is physical the other is not.

One is free flowing the other game is about highlight plays the game stops as soon as the ball hits the floor. In football you will see play continue until the ball goes out of bounds or there is a foul. In american football you see some nice plays then you see an annoying commercial break. This is really annoying when you stream on P2P sites especially when the stream goes offline.

American football should be compared to rugby I prefer the organisation and play making of American football over rugby Rugby has all these ugly scrums that make the game boring. Rugby is more like checkers American Football is chess. I'm not a fan of rugby because of this that and the American football jerseys have always looked cool unlike the bland rugby shirts.

It's beyond weird.

I don't watch football, but I could care less about how the sport performs. A lot of folks on here are insecure about what they like, and need to have a reason to justify it. I come in The Coliseum to talk about soccer, basketball, and MMA. It's never crossed my mind to make threads or posts denigrating the sports I don't watch.

There's about ten of those threads each week. The NBA stans (that don't watch football) don't have the mental capacity to realize that you can like more than one sport. They start bringing up random crap like the contracts the top players have signed, like that makes a difference to fans watching the games..
