Actually "Velvet Rope" did go
#1 on the charts. The single "Together Again" went
#1 . "I get Lonely" also went Top 5 and
#1 on the RnB Charts. "All For You" also went
#1 and produced 2
#1 singles (All for You and Doesn't really matter" and another Top 5 single (Someone to call my lover). Janet is one of the best female selling artist of all time. Her chart success on multiple charts have been historic. She's the only artist in music history nominated for a Grammy in the RnB, Rock, Rap, Pop and Dance Category's. This shows you her versatility. Look at her chart history yourself. She's had so many damn hit songs it's crazy. Janet didn't fall off till the Super Bowl sh!t in 2004. Even then "Damita Jo and 20 Years Old" both went Platinum and came it at
#2 . So if that drama didn't happen Janet could of very well had 8 straight
#1 albums. Her last solo album came in at
#1 called "Discipline."
