Due to lackluster sales of their 1984 album (forget the name), english trio wave sensation wanted to sample a new sound and opted to collabo with then hot, fresh out of the success from Janet's control album, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
Human League flew out to Minneapolis to record an album with the duo and basically, shiit hit the fan during the recording process. Jimmy and Terry wanted the back up singers to sing female leads, thus, excluding the vocals of the two females from Human League. That caused dissension within the artists and producers. Basically Human league flew back to London after a couple months of recording, leaving Jimmy and Terry to finish the album with session singers. LOL!
Long story short, the album CRASH was complete and even spawned one of their largest singles to date, "HUMAN" (and i didn't even know that Jim and Terry produced that shiit, whoa).
But one of their sleeper hits, that should have been a followup single to HUMAN is:
And to be frank, I enjoy this tune better than Human... and that's saying a whole fukkin'. lot.
The production and melody is fukkin' SSJ3 GOD level on this bytch.
And the extended mix?
But nut in your pants worthy.
The summer time is about to get fukkin' hot.
The labels fukked up not pushing this joint as a single and its unfortunately that Jimmy/Terry never worked with HL again... cuz i think their chemistry was on point.
