"Queer" is tricky.
Millenials - the number seems normal
Gen X/Baby Boomer - I think those generations had (have?) a lot more DL people, so the numbers are lower. Plus they got hit hard with the 80s AIDS wave, so that might have affected the numbers.
Gen Z - they go way past gay/les/bi into every type of identity imaginable. A good chunk of their "queer" number is likely folks that are neither gay/lesbian or bi. Pansexual, aesexual and whatever else.
Women - more educated and more liberal
Non-Black men - less educated, less liberal and more scared of the future
Live around a lot of Gen Z women and they seem cool. If you have good conversational skills, it's easy to chat them up. A lot of these guys don't have that, so they don't try. It helps that I'm not trying to actually date them, so there's that.
It's basically all about white boys not having decent/average/above average white girls to fall back on. Even the most shytty white Millenial or Gen X white guy, could find a decent Becky that's a little out of his league.
Now he's got to actually have manners, clean up after himself, do laundry....not just mowing lawns and changing windshield wiper fluid.
Gen Z white broads don't seem as stuck on forcing themselves to date white guys. Asian girls in Asia, same idea. They want their men to grow up. I'm sure brehs and brehitos have issues but this "alarm" is mostly about white guys getting pushed out the game.
