Vita is number 1 IMO. Sony made a lot of bad decisions but it was a great piece of hardware with a great library.

Just imagine if Sony just did the following with the Vita:

• Got rid of the 3G
• Focus hard on 3rd party software
• Marketed the Vita as a gaming system with a lit OLED screen (to combat against the smartphone market at the time)
• Made the price a bit reasonable (250) was too much for folks that got burnt by the PSP
• Avoid proprietary hardware for a sd or micro sd card (the memory card for the Vira is insanely overpriced right now)

It would have been a wrap. Sadly its the handheld that will never get its due because of bad decision making.

shyt if Sony just didn’t abandon it so soon and allowed sd cards instead of their overpriced memory cards(100 bucks for 32 gigs) it would have been successful.

There have always been workarounds but that’s not the point. The average consumer isn’t going to know about them and thus when they see the price tag of a memory card being as much as a game, they are going to look elsewhere.
