The end of the Halftime Radio Show really symbolizes the end for pure NY Hip Hop radio shows. The only one left is Jay Smooths Underground Railroad show on WBAI.

WNYU's history with college radio is so rich.

They've been killing it up there since the Martin Moore days with Mayhem and Sunset. I still have all of my tapes from back then. Wednesday night and Thursday night were like heaven if you lived for underground Hip Hop back then in NY.
