I always felt this way...recently got hulu so I could revisit ‘the shield’...decided to watch the 1st ep of this shyt since “everyone” keeps talking about it and I was just unimpressed...I like the premise somewhat but as far as execution it felt like a show you’d see on the syfy channel...I was gonna see if there were any discussion threads on the forum to ask if the show gets better but this is the only thread lol...I’m definitely bailing on this shyt...I don’t wanna force it and then end up reaching a point where I’m too “invested” to stop watching...I understand the show’s success tho...it’s the perfect show for the #metoo era and then you have peggy from ‘mad men’ starring in the show too
