Born and raised in the Bronx and I miss having dominican food. Wished atlanta had more Dominican spots.

But shyt.. I'm in DR right now bout to get some breakfast. Salami ,queso , Mangu..

My go to spot in the Bronx was caridad. One off of Jerome would have lunch special for like 5 dollars. Mad food for 5 dollars.

I'm surprised I never heard of the spot, I lived on the concourse for years. Going to chexk it out

Also coli brehs, take this opportunity to look at all the Dominicans in this video. Look at the wide range of complexions we all come in. I say that because you have people on this site confused about what dominicans look like. Every single person that was shown/interviewed is dominican, just a fyi

I'm sure it's good but it looks like any other Dominican restaurant. There's a few hidden Dominican spots. I know one on like 47th n 9th behind a deli. There was one inside a 2 bros pizza in midtown. It's just places that rent their stores out to help with cost. The woman in the video is doing good work.

Yet if you look at any dominican family picture, you're going to see brothers/sisters/cousins all range from light, fairly light, light black to black.

Your statement is untrue and it's a bullshyt lie that's spread like wildfire on this site.

When you ask a older generation dominican if they are black. They say no im dominican. They don't say white or anything else, just dominican. When you say black they think black American from nyc, not they grandfather Juan who's black skinned. That self hate is bullshyt proproganda

No one is confused about what Dominicans look like.

I've seen coli brehs confuse us with mexicans or associate mexican food with dominicans

Seen coli brehs say we fake cacs

Seen coli brehs say we fake blacks

Seen coli breh say we hate ourselves and our skin color

This site is 100% confused about dominicans. Unless you live in the northeast part of the U.S, you've barely or never been around enough dominicans to formulate an opinion about us
