this is stupid. the best part of listening to a new album is being surprised by the lyrics. i'm not a fan of this strategy/tactic. i don't know what the point is.....

you can tell the marketing and ad execs at samsung are scrambling with this project trying to come up with fresh ideas for promotion....but giving your bars away early?

I agree completely. Since I'm not going to read them it doesn't affect me, but as an artist I don't get why you'd want to release your lyrics before the song comes out. I can understand a few bars or even a verse, but an ENTIRE SONG worth of lyrics?

Jay-Z just tryna make it easier for his white fans to digest when it drops. Hope this isn't a popular practice going forward though.

I'd be willing to bet the people who read them will enjoy the album just fine when it drops, might even make them want to hear a particular song even more. shyt the only reason I haven't read them is because i'm too lazy/busy doing other shyt, seems like it would be kinda interesting if I gave a shyt.

More power to the bored muthafukkas that actually have the time/patience/giveamuthafukkness to actually pre-read a nikkas lyrics. I'd rather just bump some actual music that's out now.
