First, it was MS ruining games...:beli:

Then, it was DLC ruining games...:camby:

Then it was EA ruining games...:stopitslime:

Then it was pirates ruining games....:francis:

Then it was an obsession with graphics ruining games...:comeon:

Now, it's the internet ruining games....:patrice:

Why is everybody trying to find a way to say that gaming is dead? In reality, gaming is having one of the best generations ever. Why the hate? :jbhmm:

The only things hurting videogames are microtransactions and stuff being cut out to be sold as DLC, aka corporate greed.

The only way "internet" has hurt videogames is making lazy publishers release unfinished games to have them patched later.

we are just old and unfortunately don't have the time to commit to hours playing right after school.

Also as we age time is more valuable for us and we feel the need to fill it purposely... Unless your a pro gamer, and it seems like pro gamer primes lasts less than pro athletes and are all washed in their mid 20s then, what value is gaming bringing to the average adult's life? I get the occasional local smash bros or madden tourney with some friends.

But I bet 13 yr olds are having the time of their life because gaming will always improve with technology...we may have reached diminishing returns the past two gens but the youngins don't know that

people don't talk about it because it won't happen
Eh idk, it’s already bad enough a lot of the big publishers stocks have dropped like 50% on the onset of a recession

But then again, it’s more games than people realize, a lot of great indie and medium size studios pumping out great stuff! Until either EA buys them and closes them down or until they run out of money and fall apart after 5-10 years.

Let’s see how this next year plays out
