North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Rich/wealthy athletes playing a game in front of mostly rich/wealthy people who could afford or were gifted access, inside w venue that cost $5 billion, sponsored by corporations that by millions for a 30 second ad, and a half time show performed by millionaires.

All being viewed on TV by mostly middle/lower class people.

we are still a share cropping societies with feudal lords on the low.
::snooze:

The biggest annual television event in the world is free to watch regardless of your wealth. If it was anything similar to a plutocracy or share cropping or any of that shyt then it would be pay per view and only the richest people would be able to afford it.

Sports is the most egalitarian institution in the entire world thats why people are always trying to poke holes in it to make them selves look smarter than the regular folks that actually enjoy it

the post I was responding to was not just talking about football but how it reflects on society. I responded to that not particularly speaking on the bowl. but carry on...

The Bengals owner had a farm cap on his head.
Reminded me of a proud white plantation owner looking at his property
