Good Podcast on the origins of the conflict; very detailed and goes into what happened before the 1947 Partition plan and even the Balfour Declaration.

Negotiations favored the Zionists since the very beginning; with British Jews having huge influence over what Britain decided to do. Palestinians on the other hand did not have a foot to stand on and were terribly disorganized.
