Comedy was always something he had to work on and when he's having a bad set he never improvs, he only sticks to his material.

Exactly, I was thinking that while watchig the special...I liked it, thought it was pretty funny, but I wasnt laughing like when i watch chapelle or Bill Burr

Edit:also not sure if its because ive seen every episode of the show a million times but his stuff feels dated or just old

Thought it was solid. But if you aren't a Seinfeld fan obviously you're not gonna like it. He did a lot of old jokes from the show but mainly new stuff. I was entertained.
