1. Wilkerson is the best 3-4 DE not names JJ Watts in the league

2. Sheldon Richardson is a beast

3. Damon "snacks" Harrison can't be controlled by one man at the nose.

4. Quinton Coples is a OLB/Defnesive line combo

5. Sheldon, Mo AND Coples can ALL play both the 3 and 5 technique.

6. Sheldon can drop back into coverage

7. When the Jets were making changes, they kept the best defensive line coach in the NFL on their staff in Karl Dunbar

7. Lastly....for as fast offenses are at calling plays now, the Jets front four are just as dynamic.

y'all will see

I like them a lot but I think it needs to be a few more games to gauge what they can do.

with that said, buffalo's line isnt quite a slouch, and they got to qb 8 times :ehh: didnt watch the game but unless it was all on manuel, thats quite impressive

Talk football

Make an examination about aspects of the game rather than lazy posting.

whats the point? your proclaiming superiority of one segment of one aspect of the game. it's like bragging about having the best field goal kicker in the league...in the end if you don't have a well-rounded squad then bragging about a defensive line is pointless. I mean Packers fans can brag about having Aaron Rodgers all day but if the Packers are still losing, then whats the point braging?

just sayin :yeshrug:

TYRONE GA!
Drove by Jetlife stadium on my way to my hotel tonite.... :banderas:

I saw the Giants team/practice facility there. Where is the Jets?

Do they always highlight the stadium green during Jets games? I assume blue for Giants games?

First game, nah. Past 2 games, our line stepped up in a major way. Mostly just rushed the front 4 against the Pack which was crucial against Rodgers.

Haven't seen the Jets line, or really paid much attention in years. They that good? The Lions line gets pimped constantly but I've never been too high on them. I dunno about Fairley, honestly.

What about them Texans tho? Other I thought there was another bad white dude on their line opposite 99

Sunday’s game provides no relief for Brown as the Jets boast arguably the league’s most talented defensive line. - Pro Football Focus

You got a good D-Line. However SF and SEA seem to be the dominant ones in the League as of today. I think their pass rush and even run stopping ability is something we used to see from the old Ravens of the early 2000's. However, I think one other team that might get some criticism in this post would be when healthy the dallas cowboys. Demarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer on the outside with Jay Ratliff and Jason Hatcher... All pro nose tackle with two very sensational outside lineman is tough. Hell even right now they aren't doing to bad.

I for sure agree on the Jets though especially what they did vs brady.
