If the Texans were title contenders or even finished with something like a 10-6 record then I could see him being the MVP. But not playing for a mediocre team who will probably finish right at .500. His impact is legit though and he does change the game more then any other defensive player in the league. Nothing overrated about Mr. Watt.

Who cares if he's playing great on D,thats what the defensive player of the year award is for

Defensive players have great years every year, that doesn't mean they should be mvp

Ive seen defensive guys have better years than what Watt is having,on teams that won more than this texans team will and not sniff the mvp so im having a hard time taking this Watt for mvp talk serious

nikka. what.

Let's go statement by statement. Your first remark is "who cares if he's playing great on defense, that's what defensive player of the year award is for." Do you not see the fallacy? Doesn't the statement work against your point:
- Who cares if he's playing great on offense, that's what offensive player of the year award is for.
